Thursday was John's 31st birthday. The girls and I had been greatly anticipating this day. I asked the girls what to get Daddy for his birthday and they quickly said, "Spiderman things". Because of course Daddy would want Spiderman things since he is a boy. We picked out stuff for a Spiderman party and cake. They were so excited. John's parents also came to visit, so we had a fun group for John's party.
We went to Texas Cattle Co for dinner. The girls had a blast. Emily especially enjoyed herself. She got to order her food and drink herself and her drink came in a cup with out a lid (Mommy and Daddy were a little nervous). She was entertained for the entire dinner with that cup. It was only at the very end that she spilled her drink on Daddy Mac. She then looked at him with great surprise and said, "What is that on your shirt?"
After dinner, we came home for chocolate cake and icecream. John loved his Spiderman cake and party decorations. Emily loved the cake and was covered from head to toe in chocolate.
We ended our evening by watching the Disney movie, Enchanted. We enjoyed watching Caroline and Emily sing and dance along with the movie. I think that Giselle is their new favorite princess. Caroline is already quoting lots of lines from the movie!
